We have recently become aware of individuals sending emails, text messages and other communications while claiming to represent Reliqus or using the Reliqus name without authorization.

Some of these messages may appear convincing because they reference specific website pages, technical problems, SEO issues, enquiry forms, Google Maps errors or other information about a business’s website. Others may begin by offering an audit, consultation, website review or assistance with a supposed issue.

Reliqus uses official company-domain email addresses for email communication. Our team communicates using email addresses ending in @reliqus.com. If someone claims to represent Reliqus but contacts you from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or another unrelated email domain, please treat the communication as suspicious and verify it directly with us.

Please also check the spelling of the domain carefully, as impersonators may use addresses or domains designed to look similar to legitimate ones.

We are publishing this notice to help our clients, partners and other businesses verify communications claiming to come from our team.

How to Verify a Message From Reliqus

If you receive an unexpected communication from someone claiming to represent Reliqus and you are unsure whether it is genuine, please verify the sender before taking any action.

Be cautious about:

  • Emails sent from addresses that do not end in @reliqus.com
  • Unexpected text messages, WhatsApp messages or social media messages using the Reliqus name
  • Someone claiming to have identified problems with your website, SEO, advertising or other digital services
  • Unsolicited offers for audits, consultations, website reviews or calls
  • Requests to schedule meetings with people you have not previously dealt with at Reliqus
  • Links, documents or attachments sent from unfamiliar accounts
  • Requests for WordPress, hosting, Google, advertising or other account access
  • Requests for passwords, authentication codes or other sensitive information
  • Unexpected payment requests or unfamiliar banking or payment details

The presence of detailed or accurate information about your website does not necessarily prove that the sender represents Reliqus. Much of this information can be gathered from publicly accessible websites and online tools.

If you are uncertain, contact your usual Reliqus representative directly using the contact information you already have.

You can also contact us through the official details published on Reliqus.com.

If You Are an Existing Reliqus Client

Our clients normally communicate with known Reliqus team members through established channels.

If someone you do not recognise suddenly contacts you claiming to be from Reliqus, first check whether their email address ends in @reliqus.com.

Even if the sender appears to use a legitimate-looking address, please verify unfamiliar team members with your usual Reliqus contact before arranging a meeting, sharing information, granting account access or taking any other action.

If you already have an existing email conversation with our team, replying through that established conversation is one of the safest ways to confirm whether a new request is genuine.

Be Cautious of Unsolicited Audits and Website Reviews

One tactic used in some of the communications we have seen is offering a free website, SEO or technical audit.

A sender may point out genuine-looking website issues in order to establish credibility and encourage the recipient to reply, schedule a consultation or join a call.

An unsolicited audit or detailed observation about your website does not establish that the sender works for Reliqus.

If someone claims to be conducting an audit, review or consultation on behalf of Reliqus, please verify that communication directly with us.

Protect Your Accounts and Information

Never provide passwords, authentication codes, administrative credentials, banking information or other sensitive information to someone whose identity you have not verified.

Similarly, avoid granting access to your website, hosting account, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console or other business systems based solely on an unsolicited communication.

If a message creates urgency or pressures you to respond, schedule a meeting, provide access or take immediate action, verify it with us first.

Received a Suspicious Message?

If you receive an email, text message, social media message, audit, meeting request or other communication that you believe may be impersonating Reliqus, please send us a screenshot or copy of the communication.

This helps us document impersonation attempts, identify recurring patterns and alert our clients when necessary.

If you are ever unsure whether a communication genuinely came from Reliqus, please contact your usual Reliqus representative or reach us directly through the official contact information available on Reliqus.com.
