ROI is your net profit divided by your total investment cost, multiplied by 100. For example, if you spend 1,000 and earn 1,500 in return, your net profit is 500 and your ROI is 50%. The ROI Calculator does this for you.
Churn rate is the percentage of customers you lose during a set period. Divide the number of customers lost by the number you had at the start, then multiply by 100. A lower churn rate means better retention.
CLV is the total revenue you can expect from an average customer over the entire relationship. A simple version multiplies average purchase value, purchase frequency, and customer lifespan. Comparing it with your cost to acquire a customer shows whether your growth is profitable.
NPS measures customer loyalty using one question: how likely are you to recommend us? Scores of 9–10 are promoters, 7–8 are passives, and 0–6 are detractors. Your NPS is the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors, giving a score between -100 and +100.
