Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Reliqus Consulting, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel a project or service. Our cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling a project, including any applicable fees and procedures. This policy ensures clarity and fairness for both parties involved.

Cancellation by the Client

  1. Pre-Project Commencement:
    • No Penalty: If a project is canceled before any work has begun, no cancellation fees will be charged, and any deposits made will be fully refunded.
  2. Post-Project Commencement:
    • Prorated Charges: If a project is canceled after work has begun, the client will be responsible for payment for the work completed up to the point of cancellation. Any remaining balance from the deposit will be refunded.
  3. Notification Requirement:
    • Written Notice: Clients must provide written notice of cancellation via email to info[at]reliqus.com or through our contact form. The cancellation will be effective upon receipt of the written notice.
  4. Third-Party Services:
    • Non-Refundable Costs: Any costs incurred for third-party services (such as domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, etc.) are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refundable amounts.

Cancellation by Reliqus Consulting

  1. Failure to Comply:
    • Non-Compliance: We reserve the right to cancel a project if the client fails to comply with the agreed-upon terms and conditions, including payment schedules and project requirements.
  2. Lack of Communication:
    • Abandonment: If the client fails to respond to communications or provide necessary approvals for a period of 30 days, the project may be considered abandoned and canceled.
  3. Refunds:
    • Prorated Refunds: In cases where Reliqus Consulting initiates the cancellation, prorated refunds will be issued based on the amount of work completed up to the point of cancellation.

Payment Obligations

  1. Outstanding Balances:
    • Due Upon Cancellation: Any outstanding balances for work completed up to the point of cancellation are due immediately upon cancellation.
  2. Final Invoice:
    • Invoice Issuance: A final invoice detailing the work completed and any remaining balance due will be issued upon cancellation.

Dispute Resolution

  1. Negotiation:
    • Good Faith Effort: Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes regarding the cancellation through good faith negotiations.
  2. Mediation:
    • Third-Party Mediation: If negotiations fail, the parties may seek mediation by a mutually agreed-upon third party.
